Who We Are

The ASEAN Youth Network in Korea (AYNK) is a non-profit, student-led network of ASEAN youth studying and living in the Republic of Korea.

We bring together the official or recognized student communities from 11 ASEAN Member States, acting as a platform for collaboration, representation, and shared initiatives.

Our Vision

A vibrant, inclusive, and recognized ASEAN youth community in Korea that contributes actively to ASEAN–Korea friendship, regional cooperation, and youth leadership.

Our Mission

To connect ASEAN students across universities and regions in Korea.
To amplify ASEAN student voices through representation and leadership roles.
To promote ASEAN cultures and identities in Korea through events and campaigns.
To collaborate with institutions in ASEAN and Korea for meaningful youth programs.
To support each other’s academic, social, and professional growth as ASEAN youth.

Our Story

Founded in 2015, AYNK was established to unify ASEAN student communities in Korea under one shared platform. Since then, the network has:

connected country representatives from all ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste
organized joint programs and flagship events, including the annual Year-End Celebration
collaborated with Korean and ASEAN partners to deliver youth-centered initiatives

Every year, the Executive Council builds upon the work of previous terms—strengthening internal structure, clarifying roles, and expanding partnerships for the benefit of ASEAN students in Korea.
